Christmas Eve Excitement

What a Christmas Eve!  Frank prepare his traditional and incrediblily tasty Italian
pasta al forno with help from his sous chef, also known as Alayna.

Dinner was great however, Grandma never really got to eat
because Great-Grandma Burke (95) was having difficulty breathing and eventually we had to call 911 to have her taken to the emergency room.  The day was not a restful, spirit-filled evening to reflect on the birth of our Savior but a chance for us to support each other and Grandma Burke. We took turns in the ER room with her and each other in the waiting room.Uncle Bob, Aunt Tina, Amy, Shelby drove up from Oakdale to be of support, too!  Alayna was so patient while trying to rest on an uncomfortable chair with a small blanket she had brought from home. This is truly a season about giving.  It's not about what you get but how you give.We are so lucky to have each other when days do not go as we planned. Now that's family!
